I've written short stories, poetry, and songs since I was a little girl, and as a grown up have participated in the National Novel Writing Month several times. Writing and reading are such beloved hobbies that I even got a masters degree in teaching them, specifically to students who struggle in the subjects, for one reason or another.

I have always had a fondness for children's book, which I credit to growing up with an artist mother. I love words and visuals that can transport you to whole new worlds, and I hope my book can do the same for readers of all ages.

Having a family has been the most brutal climb for me--involving multiple surgeries, pregnancy losses, gobs of tests and needles and more surgeries, both before and after my miracle IVF child. I am passionate about supporting other men and women going through the same battle and will donate at least 10% of all book sales to organizations who support that journey, wherever it ends for people.
